For the launch of the Brazilian team's new shirt for the 2018 World Cup, Nike partnered with the Shazam app that will bring, through image recognition technology, a new experience to fans during the team's latest friendlies. . By pointing the smartphone's camera at the team's badge, whether on the shirt, in a photo or magazine, for example, some exclusive content will be released. The experience will also be the key for consumers to unlock an exclusive benefit on Nike.com: purchasing their national team jersey with free customization for a limited time.
Additionally, the brand launched a special edition of the shirt packaged in collectible cans. With art made by 4 Brazilian artists selected by Nike (Pomb, Denis Freitas, Camila Rosa and Rafa Sanches), the cans, limited to 1500 units for each art, are being distributed exclusively on Nike.com, Centauro.com.
